Recommended for
IPL is not suitable for every skin tone, pigment type or medical history. A consultation and, when appropriate, a test patch are required before treatment.
The clinical approach
IPL delivers carefully selected pulses of broad-spectrum light into the skin. Different filters allow the treatment to target visible pigment or redness while leaving the surrounding tissue intact. Settings are selected for your skin type and concern after assessment.
Your recommended plan
Many clients benefit from a course of three treatments spaced around four weeks apart, followed by maintenance as needed. Your plan may differ depending on pigment depth, redness and sun exposure.

Protective eyewear is worn while brief pulses of light are delivered across the selected area. A warm flicking sensation is common.
Skin can look warm or flushed at first. Pigmented spots may darken before naturally lifting over several days.
